These are not finishes, they are materials
In collector knifemaking, certain materials are sought after for one precise reason: they make every piece impossible to reproduce. The pattern is not printed on the metal — it is the metal, seen in section. We applied those codes to watchmaking. The result is a watch that does not rest on a design, but on the material itself.
Five materials, five signatures.
- Mokuti, titanium damascus — colours that shift with the angle, born from an oxide layer rather than a pigment.
- Crystallised titanium — the solidification structure of the metal, grown by slow cooling then laid bare with acid.
- Damascus steel — waves inherited from the forge, drawn by dozens of steel layers folded and twisted.
- Forged carbon — fibre tows reoriented at random under the press: a marbling the mould itself cannot repeat.
- Superconductor — a cross-section of superconducting magnet cable, niobium-titanium filaments frozen in copper.
None of these materials produces the same drawing twice.
Limited to 200 pieces per model
Each model is made in 200 numbered examples. The billets are rare and the pattern is never the same twice: no two watches from one series look alike. Our photographs show one piece out of two hundred; yours will carry its own drawing.
